K-9s sniff out explosives on Sagami

Staff Sgt. Alexander Dean, 374th Security Forces Squadron military working dog trainer, plants a simulated improvised explosive device prior to an aircraft familiarization and detection training at Sagami Depot, Sagamihara Japan, Sept. 2, 2020. The MWD section uses a variety of training explosive devices to help hone the detection skills of both handlers and their K-9 counterparts in a safe environment.
