YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 19, 2022) — Command Master Chief Robert Beachy, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) command master chief, receives his flu shot from Hospitalman Matthew Miranda, assigned to Naval Medical Readiness Training Command (NMRTC) Yokosuka during a flu vaccine distribution at CFAY Fleet Recreation Center. Service members assigned to CFAY and tenant commands received their vaccines during the command SHOTEX. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
