YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 9, 2020) - A portrait of Seaman Mitchell McCain, from Portland, Ore., aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54). Antietam is forward deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific.

Machinist’s Mate (Nuclear) 1st Class Sian Tweeddale, assigned to the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), receives the COVID-19 vaccine on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). Medical personnel and strategic forces were the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
