Airlifter of the Week: Senior Airman Johnetta Jones

by Yokota Air Base
U.S. Air Force

Congratulations to Senior Airman Johnetta Jones, 374th Dental Squadron Dental Assistant, on being the Airlifter of the Week!

Since arriving at Yokota AB, SrA Jones has been taking care of the mission while assigned to multiple sections within the Dental Squadron. She managed and guided a team of 2 Airmen and 3 local nationals as they executed daily operations for 11K DoD beneficiaries. Her superb work ethics and management skills were instrumental to the 374th Airlift Wing Dental Readiness posture achieving 82 percent optimal oral health rate. This metric was the clinic’s best rate in 7 years and propelled Team Yokota to #1 in PACAF and the #2/73 Dental Treatment Facilities in the Air Force.

SrA Jones embodies the Air Force core values “Service Before Self” and “Excellence in all we do.” Her dedication to others led her to winning 2 squadron Airman of the Quarter awards and selection as the Dental Squadron’s 2019 Airman of the Year. Her efforts supported the squadron winning the 2019 Air Force Medical Services Large Dental Clinic of the Year.

Congratulations again to SrA Jones!
