U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Evan N. Valdez, incoming 35th Force Support Squadron commander, accepts the guidon from Col. David L. Valdez previously served as the deputy assistant chief of staff for operations, Joint Interagency Task Force West, at Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii from June 2020 until July 2022.
