Misawa Airman passes away after motorcycle accident

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- An Airman assigned to the 35th Maintenance Squadron at Misawa Air Base was killed in a motorcycle-related accident on base at approximately 3:33 p.m., April 13.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

"Any time we lose a member of Team Misawa, it impacts the entire installation and community," said Col. R. Scott Jobe, the 35th Fighter Wing commander. "My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to their family, friends and wingmen."
