April is the month of the Military Child, and that means April celebrates (and shows) how much people appreciate military children. Even though I’m a DoD civilian child, I go to the Sullivans Elementary School with many like me and other military children and learn a lot from them!
When I just moved here in Japan, I thought it was quite different from where I came from. Now, I’m familiar with this place and my school! I learned that home is not just a place, it’s wherever my family goes. Also, when I said I was a DoD civilian student, I meant that my daddy’s work is linked to the military, which I’m proud to know that my family is helping in our own way.
