DALLAS – Army & Air Force Exchange Service shoppers around the world were recently awarded more than $45,000 in prizes through the MILITARY STAR and Pizza Hut Shopping Spree sweepstakes.
Thirty-two Exchange shoppers worldwide earned prizes, with two grand-prize recipients—Youn Jung Choi of Yokota Air Base and Army Captain Phillip Vo of U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr—each receiving a $5,000 untimed Exchange shopping spree. Thirty others awarded $1,300 Exchange gift cards.
“Supporting the military community is at the heart of everything we do at the Exchange,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Rich Martinez, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor. “Sweepstakes like this are just one of the many ways we deliver on our mission of family serving family—bringing joy, recognition and meaningful rewards to those who serve.”
The sweepstakes was in honor of the Exchange’s 130th anniversary in July. Diners who used their MILITARY STAR cards at Exchange Pizza Hut locations from July 1 through July 31 were automatically entered to win.
The Exchange operates 17 Pizza Huts in the Pacific, 12 in Europe and 11 in CONUS.
