VIDEO: Speakin’ Japanese lesson: I would like to pre-order a Christmas cake
Christmas is right around the corner. If you are planning to buy Christmas cake at a local store, here’s a phrase you might want to give a try.
“Kurisumasu keeki no yoyaku wo onegai-shimasu” which means “I would like to pre-order a Christmas cake.”
Repeat after me. “Kurisumasu keeki no yoyaku wo onegai-shimasu”
(“Kurismasu” – Christmas, “keeki”– cake, “Yoyaku” – pre-order, “Onegai-shimasu” – Please/please help me do…)
Stay safe and have a merry Christmas!
