Good Chinese food near Hardy Barracks

Good Chinese food near Hardy Barracks
If you're spending the weekend in Tokyo, there is a good Chinese restaurant located about 100 meters from Hardy Barracks. Instead of heading up to Roppongi, walk in the opposite direction. Hokkai-En promotes itself as an "Original Peking Restaurant".
This mid-priced restaurant has a very large menu, with lots of English. The staff speaks limited English, but when I spoke slowly and used simple phrases, I got my pot of tea.
The food is very, very good. There are fixed menus for full meals, but I ordered individual dishes. The chicken with cashews was very good (texture of the nuts is my litmus test). The pork fried rice was the best I've ever had.
If you prefer a sit down Chinese restaurant instead of the now very common all-you-can-eat buffets, this is an excellent choice. It's not cheap (I didn't notice if there was a kid's menu), but reasonable for Tokyo.
