Get ready to rock June 9 in Sasebo

In Japan, June 9 is considered a day of Rock in Japan. The numbers six and nine each read “ro” and “ku” respectively in Japanese, thus spelling out roku or “rock.”

In celebration of this day, four Sasebo-area establishments will be hosting a rock-themed block party. Get your hair done for 500 yen (about $4.80) by Junk Style Salon. Visit Cafe Knock Knock for photos at their Instagram photo booth. Then, sample some Shiokaze’s tasty ramen at Cafe Corasa.

Get ready to rock this June 9 with a new ‘do, sweet pics and some noodles in Sasebo!

For more information, call Café corasa at 080-9100-5605 or visit their Instagram: @cafecorasa.
