  • Venue: Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro (Tokyo) and Umeda (Osaka)

  • When: August 28th - October 8th 2026

Fans of cute Korean character culture have another reason to visit Capcom Cafe this summer, with the popular ESTHER BUNNY taking over its Ikebukuro and Umeda locations from August 28 to October 8, 2026.

The collaboration brings the pop, kitschy and girly world of ESTHER BUNNY to the cafes with a special menu and limited-edition merchandise. The full collaboration menu will feature 12 items, including four food dishes, two desserts and six drinks.

Several of the dishes have now been revealed, and they’re certainly colorful. Ribbon Bunny’s cute and lovely banana split combines vanilla and strawberry ice cream with chocolate and strawberry sauce and heart-shaped chocolates, while Blue Bunny gets a rather unexpected tribute in the form of a classic hot dog served with a light blue sauce.

For something more substantial, Cream Bunny’s Special Chili Con Carne Burger comes with a white bun, chili con carne, potatoes, pickles and salad. Happy Bunny’s Energetic Chicken Over Rice is served with turmeric rice shaped like bunny ears, spicy chicken, chilli sauce and mayonnaise.

The drinks are equally colorful. Lavender Bunny’s Cool Blueberry Drink combines blueberries, lemon and sparkling silver sprinkles, while Sweetie Bunny’s Juicy Peach Tea features yellow peaches, whipped cream and mint.

There are also limited-edition freebies. Anyone ordering an original drink receives one randomly selected coaster from eight designs, while spending 3,000 JPY on cafe menu items earns a randomly selected bromide-style postcard from seven designs. These are available while stocks last.

ESTHER BUNNY was created by Korean-American artist Esther Kim and is known for its “Love MySelf, Love YourSelf” message, focusing on self-care and self-acceptance.

The collaboration runs at Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro in Tokyo and Umeda in Osaka. Advance reservations are available, so fans planning a visit may want to book ahead.

Getting there

Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro is located 10 minutes on foot from the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station.
