Did you know?: Ice cream consumption in Japan
Okinawa was reported to spend the least amount of money on ice cream in 2012 among all the prefectures of Japan. Prefectures such as Hyogo, Fukuoka, Wakayama, and Miyazaki rounded out the bottom four. The result showed that those with warm climates tend to spend less on ice cream than those with cold weather.
