Champon noodle: A taste of Hirado, Nagasaki

Located near the Dutch Bridge, the 85-year-old Ichiraku Shokudo will serve you up original local Champon noodles. These thick and chewy noodles are served in a pork bone broth with local vegetables and seafood. Although my recommendation is its signature noodle dishe, Hirado Champon, for 710 yen ($6), you can enjoy another popular local food, “ago” (flying fish), in the Ago Champon for 880 yen.
