For prom this year, Zama Middle High School was transformed into a fairytale land out of Disney’s “Tangled.” Decorated in purple, gold, yellow, and pink accents, the ballroom was the setting for a fun and elegant night.
One of the highlights of the senior prom was the fashion. Students showed up wearing dresses that reflected their personality and style. Many dresses matched the fairytale theme with sparkles, satin fabrics, sequins, and gold details. Purple, champagne, black, blush pink, and gold were some of the most popular colors of the night. The guys also came dressed to impress with suits, dress shirts, ties, and stylish accessories that completed their looks.
The DJ kept the energy high all night and students danced and sang along to many popular songs. There were also fun spots for students to take pictures with their friends and capture memories from the evening.

Besides the fashion, prom was about spending time together and making memories before the school year ends. Students spent the night taking pictures, making TikToks, dancing, and enjoying one of the last big events of high school together. Teachers and staff also helped make the night successful. Mr. Ungar, the 11th grade sponsor, along with the junior class representatives organized the event and made sure everyone had a safe and a fun time.
To make the night even more special, I was honored to be crowned Prom Queen, and my boyfriend, David, was crowned Prom King. It was such an amazing moment, and I am grateful I got to share this night with my classmates.

Prom 2026 was a night to remember and the best way for students to celebrate together before graduation.
