YWES 100th Day of Kindergarten Food Pantry Collection

The month of February was an important month of school for YWES. We combined two celebrations 100th Day of Kindergarten and Acts of Kindness. The “100 Cans of Kindness” campaign ran from January 20 through February 18 on Yokota West campus, with each class setting a goal of collecting 100 non-perishable food items for donation to the Yokota Food Pantry. On February 18, the tally was complete, both classes met their goal. We have been learning about our community, military kids helping the military community.
