Ringing in the new year at Sasebo Elementary School
The 2017-18 school year kicked off at Sasebo Elementary School with EJ King’s ROTC Color Guard and a beautiful solo of the Star Spangled Banner by Anna S. Mrs. Phipps, principal of SES, 5th grade teacher Mrs. Hollinghead, and Ms Washington joined the Girl Scouts in leading the pledge of allegiance.
Capt. Thompson welcomed parents, students and staff to a new school. His charge was “full steam ahead” to make the most out of the new school year.
Mrs. Tanaka is proud to introduce our Taiko drummers Amikea, Tyna, Zhoe and Taiko Master Mr. Ishimura. These students participated in a summer cultural exchange class.
