Lanham STEAMing ahead to success

Lanham STEAMing ahead to success
Shirley Lanham Elementary School ( SLES ) puts the T.E.A.M. in S.T.E.A.M. It's S.T.E.A.M. day in SLES and today we are learning about science, technology, engineering, art, and math. There are many stations where we learned these skills, such as controlling Lego robots, military scout robots, thermal imaging, and going behind the scenes in the AFN news channel.
The first station we did was the AFN news channel behind the scenes. A few reporters showed us a little bit of what it was like to hold and control the camera. They also showed us how being a reporter relates to the jobs we might have in the future.
We were glad to learn new things and we enjoyed publishing this story.
