Blue Ridge and C7F Sailors help out a local school

YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 23, 2017) - Musician 2nd Class Patrick Pedlar plays a trumpet solo during a performance by the U.S. 7th Fleet Band ensemble, Broadside Brass Band, for students at Mabori Elementary School as part of a USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) and Commander U.S. 7th Fleet combined CPO 365 sponsored community service event. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
