Camp Zama PX to mark Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s 131 years of service with community celebration

CAMP ZAMA – The Camp Zama Exchange will mark the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s 131st anniversary and legacy of serving those who serve with tastings, games, and giveaways on July 25 at the PX.
From 11:30 a.m., the Camp Zama PX will host a celebration, including cupcakes giveaways; Spin-the-Wheel, win a prize game; meet your managers; exchange anniversary giveaways at Burger King (while supplies last).
“For 131 years, military families have turned to the Exchange for comfort and care,” said Camp Zama Exchange General Manager Nick Cucinello “This event is a chance to celebrate the Exchange’s commitment to Warfighters and to thank every member of the military community.”
Since the Department of War’s General Order No. 46 directed commanders to establish post exchanges in 1895, the Exchange has constantly evolved to function as a force multiplier for the Nation’s military.
