Yokota Spouses’ Club Bazaar March 18-19

On 18-19 March, 2023, The Yokota Spouses’ Club (YSC) is hosting its annual Asian Bazaar. The event will take place at the Taiyo Community Center, building 3260, on the West side of Yokota Air Base. This volunteer-staffed annual event offers cultural exchange as well as the opportunity to purchase Asian-themed curios.

Entry to the Asian Bazaar is free to all. While at the event, visitors can expect to see Japanese and Asian furniture, rugs, art, jewelry, dishes, kimonos, obi crafts, kokeshi dolls, and more. Proceeds go to support the community of Yokota AB and the Yokota Spouses' Club Scholarship Fund.

Last year, the YSC awarded $24,500 in scholarship money. Applications for this year’s awards are due March 31 and are open to high school seniors and continuing education applicants whose sponsor is an active duty US military member or SOFA-sponsored employee assigned to Yokota Air Base.

The Bazaar is a fun way for community members of all ages to enjoy a Yokota tradition and help out a worthy cause!
