Yokota Air Base – The Yokota Exchange will mark the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s 131st anniversary and legacy of serving those who serve with Scavenger Hunts, Stamp Rally and more on July 25 at the Exchange.
From 1100 to 1600, the Yokota Exchange will host Scavenger Hunts and Stamp Rally. The Yokota Exchange will kick off celebrations with an 1100 Cake cutting ceremony and words from our Wing Leadership.
“For 131 years, military families have turned to the Exchange for comfort and care,” said Yokota Exchange General Manager Corey Bennett. “This event is a chance to celebrate the Exchange’s commitment to Warfighters and to thank every member of the military community.”
Since the Department of War’s General Order No. 46 directed commanders to establish post exchanges in 1895, the Exchange has constantly evolved to function as a force multiplier for the Nation’s military.
