Yokota Air Base – Airmen and military shoppers looking for this year’s hot holiday items can use the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s “Take-A-Ticket” program to avoid crowds during Black Friday weekend, Nov. 27-29.

Tickets for door busters and limited-quantity items such as TVs, tablets and cameras will be distributed first-come, first-served to shoppers at the Yokota Exchange at 0600, two (2) hours prior to the store opening. Once tickets are distributed, those items is reserved until 1200 the day of the sale, allowing shoppers to come back and shop any time before that time.

“Shoppers receiving a ticket are guaranteed to be able to get that in-demand item without having to fight through long lines or crowds,” said Yokota Exchange General Manager Julia Woods. “The Yokota Exchange’s focus remains on protecting the force.”

All “Take-A-Ticket” purchases will have contactless pick up at multiple locations throughout the store, where associates will verify the customer’s receipt, pull the items and load them into the customer’s cart.
