Yokosuka Naval Base holds ombudsman dinner
YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 17, 2021) Capt. Rich Jarrett, commanding officer of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) (right) and Rear Adm. Carl Lahti, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Japan, (left) lead a cake cutting ceremony with the command ombudsmen during the 2021 Ombudsman Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Fleet and Family Support Center on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
