Wild Weasel Walk-Through: Joint Tactic Army Ground Station
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Col. Jesse J. Friedel, the Misawa Air Base commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Joey R. Meininger, the Misawa AB command chief, meet with U.S. Army Soldiers from the Joint Tactic Army Ground Station (JTAGS) during a Wild Weasel Walk-Through at Misawa AB, Jan. 12, 2020. JTAGS receive infrared data directly from the Defense Support Program satellites. Soldiers operating the JTAGS receive and process the data from the satellite sensors to warn and alert U.S. and Allied commanders about potential threats.
