VIDEO: Speakin’ Japanese: Okinawa is ‘relatively’ warm!

Although it sometimes gets chilly on the island, Okinawa is relative warm if you compare it with mainland Japan. 

Here’s a phrase to describe such climate of Okinawa.

“Okinawa wa Hondo to Hikaku Suruto, Hikakuteki Atatakai desu,” which means “Okinawa is relatively warm if you compare it with mainland Japan.”

(“Hondo” – mainland, “to” – with, “Hikaku suru” – compare, “Hikakuteki” – relatively, “Atatakai” – warm, “desu” - is)
