If you go to restaurants or stores in Japan, you might note some specific phrases used by waiters and store clerks. One of the most common phrases that they use is “Kashikomari mashita” which means “understood” or “certainly” in a polite way, meaning that your order has been accepted. So next time you hear they say “Kashikomari mashita”, you might as well respond by saying “Yoroshiku onegai shimasu”, which means “Thank you in advance.”

(“Kashikomaru” – be respectful, “mashita” – a phrase to express politeness,

 “yoroshiku” – please, “onegai” – favor, “shimasu” – a polite way to say “I will do ～”)
