In Japan, a weather phenomenon called “Gerira (guerilla) go-u” often takes place. In short, it is a downpour of rain in a short period time. It can trigger flooding and cause significant damage. So, it is important that we stay alert to that. Today’s phrase is:

“Guerira (Guerilla) go-u wo Keikai Shimasho”, which means “Let’s stay alert for a downpour.”

(“Guerira” – guerilla, “Go-u” – downpour/heavy shower, “wo” a postposition to put after a noun which functions as an object, “Keikai” – alert/caution, “Shimasho” – Let’s do～)
