VIDEO| Speakin’ Japanese lesson: It is a beautiful clear autumn day
Autumn is here. Let’s try this phrase – “Akibare desune”
On Okinawa, from mid-October through November, we often get nice weather. Sometimes the sky clears up with no clouds. When you talk to somebody on a day like that, try this phrase: “Akibare desune,” which means, “It’s a nice autumn day, isn’t it?”
Repeat after me. “Akibare desune”
(“Aki” – fall/autumn “bare/hare” – sunny/nice weather)
This will help you start a conversation in a smooth way. Ok, stay safe and see you in the next episode of Speakin’ Japanese!
