VIDEO: Speakin’ Japanese: Don’t forget your sunscreen
Before you hit the beach, try this phrase – “Hiyakedome wo wasurezuni!”
Summer has just begun on the island. Maybe you can hear Okinawa’s beautiful beaches calling your name.
But before you hit the beach, first things first! Let’s try this phrase:
“Hiyakedome wo wasurezuni,” which means “Don’t forget your sunscreen.”
(“Hiyakedome” – sunscreen, “wasurezuni” – don’t forget)
Repeat after me: “Hiyakedome wo wasurezuni”
OK, let’s enjoy the beach without getting sunburned. See you in the next episode of Speaking Japanese!
