USS Ashland departs CFAS

SASEBO, Japan (February 26, 2015) Sailors assigned to Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) participate in line handling as the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) departs for a scheduled deployment. Ashland is part of the USS Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward deployed to the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations.
