USO Yokosuka welcomed home USS Benfold

USO Yokosuka Staff, Volunteers and excited families enthusiastically welcomed home the crew of the USS BENFOLD.

Waiting for the ship’s arrival can seem endless, so our team at USO Yokosuka hosted a poster-making booth for families and friends to pass the time. Spouses and kids enjoyed creating posters to wave as the ship came into view.

On the hot and humid day, the USO ensured that everyone stayed hydrated with cool drinks and snacks.

USO Yokosuka was honored to support over 200 family members reconnecting with their loved ones. The BENFOLD Sailors deeply appreciated the special warm welcome and colorful posters in they pulled into port!

The USO is proud to uphold our mission of connecting Service Members to family, home, and country. We fully support our Service Members and their families—especially during Homecomings. Our deployed 7th Fleet Sailors will soon be returning to home port and USO Yokosuka looks forward to providing support on their return as well.
