U.S. military and JASDF partner-up to clean fence line of Yokota AB

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan - Volunteers, representing the U.S. military and Japan Air Self-Defense Force, cleaned up debris along the fence line of Yokota Air Base, May 27.

These volunteers collected waste to ensure the inside and outside of Yokota was free of any discarded litter.

A total of 136 volunteers from both nations volunteered and collected 315 pounds of waste. Volunteer events like these help promote a cleaner environment and continue to strengthen the bond between U.S. and Japanese forces.
