US, JMSDF conduct bilateral patient receiving demonstration
TOKYO, Japan (June 17, 2018) - Sailors assigned to Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) for Pacific Partnership 2018 (PP18) examine a mock patient aboard Mercy during a bilateral medical training team drill between Mercy and Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) personnel. USNS Mercy is making port visits to Yokosuka and Tokyo to promote relationships between U.S. Navy Sailors and Japanese citizens through cultural exchange and bilateral training.
