UH-1Y Venom takes off from NAF Misawa

MISAWA, Japan (Jan. 23, 2020) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Grant T. Daniels observes a UH-1Y Venom helicopter assigned to the “Gunfighters” of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369 as it takes off from Naval Air Facility (NAF) Misawa. NAF Misawa provides aviation and ground logistic support and services to all permanent and transient U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps forces in Northern Japan.
