Tidy up the neighborhood with a conservation walk

Are you looking for a way to spend time in nature while helping your community? During the most recent base lockdown, my family decided to spend an afternoon taking a conservation walk. Without looking too hard, we were able to fill six entire bags with odds and ends including not only soda cans, chip bags, and glass bottles, but also some unexpected things like a car battery and a bunch of old crumbling tools. You can help your community and spend some time outside by talking a conservation walk in your neighborhood too! Grab some leftover plastic shopping bags and start walking! It is a great way to spend an empty afternoon, enjoying some fresh air and giving to your community. Stay safe!
