Relaxing by my tiny flower garden at home
While working remotely from my home in Yokosuka, I enjoy sitting by and looking at the tiny yet lovely flower garden my wife takes care of each morning after waking up.
Some may not call it a garden because the flowers are in pots on our 13th floor apartment’s balcony, but the bright, colorful flowers growing from pots bring a smile to face during this tough time in our history. I enjoy watching as they slightly change their colors and directions in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Birds fly past our balcony in the early morning to greet us and jump up on the wall near our flower garden, chirping some lovely tunes before flying away.
Since my wife has a green thumb, we also have numerous plants inside. Since we shouldn’t be outside nowadays, it’s nice to have a piece of nature in our homes.
A five-minute tour around our tiny flower garden and green plants, coupled with a recital by our bird friends in the early morning, energizes my wife and I to kick off another day.
You may have your flower garden that relaxes you. If so, please share them with us on Facebook.
