Fiscal Year 2020 Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony at Yokosuka

YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 13, 2019) – Fiscal Year 2020 Yokosuka Area Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Selects attended their pinning ceremony at the Benny Decker Theater onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). 37 CPO Selects, representing 11 different commands, had their anchors pinned and donned their CPO covers for the first time in front of their fellow CPOs, command leadership, family and friends. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, 27,000 military and civilian personnel and families.
