Distinguished visitor, Dr. Hiroya Sugano, visited Yokota Air Base to speak with service members and tour the installation on, Japan, April. 9, 2026. Dr. Sugano has hosted an event where he and a group of U.S. service members hike to the top of Mt. Shizuhata where he pays respect to U.S. service members and Japanese civilians who died during an air raid during WWII.
