CFAS attends U.S. Consulate Fukuoka’s 246th anniversary of the United States of America celebration

The Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo color guard present the U.S. flag and the flag of Japan during the U.S. Consulate Fukuoka’s 246th Anniversary of the United States of America celebration at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk Hotel in Fukuoka, Japan Oct. 28, 2022. The event, originally scheduled in July but delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held to celebrate American independence and the 150 year history of baseball in Japan since its introduction in 1872 from the U.S.
