CAMP ZAMA — Finding the right furniture overseas just got easier for Camp Zama shoppers with the grand opening of Yellow Box Furniture, the third store to open on mainland Japan after Yokota and Misawa air bases.

On Dec. 19, Col. Erik Davis, Camp Zama Garrison Commander, joined Camp Zama PX General Manager Nick Cucinello, Service Business Manager George de la Cruz, and the Yellow Box Team in a ribbon cutting to welcome the new concession.

“The Exchange understands the importance of creating a comfortable home is especially important when you’re living far from friends and family overseas,” said Cucinello. “Yellow Box Furniture brings a level of convenience and quality shoppers are looking for closer at home on Camp Zama.”

Yellow Box Furniture offers military shoppers the comforts of home through American, Balinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indian-style furniture sold at competitive prices. To keep variety fresh, new products are imported weekly.

Shoppers can also receive assistance from Yellow Box Furniture associates, who are deeply knowledgeable about their products. Shoppers can also choose next-day delivery and furniture assembly.

Yellow Box Furniture, located at the Camp Zama Exchange Home and Garden at Bldg. 406, is open Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
