In July of 2016, Private First Class Roman reported to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Japan, Marine Air Control Squadron 4, Detachment B, where she currently serves as a Collateral Duty Inspector, Foreign Object Damage Prevention Program Manager, Single Marine Program Representative, and ATC Radar Technician. She deployed to Cobra Gold 2017 and took on the billet of a Radar Technician and Meteorological Equipment Maintenance (METEM) Technician. Private First Class Roman won the Squadron Marine of the Quarter board for the 2nd quarter in April 2017. Private First Class Roman was promoted to Lance Corporal on 2 December 2017. 
In February 2018, Corporal Roman deployed with the AN/TPN-31 (V)5 (expeditionary airport radar) to Korat Royal Thai Air Base as the Assistant Work Center Supervisor for the radar section. Upon returning, she was instrumental in the site survey and placement of the radar, and subsequent repair of the system leading to a successful FAA flight inspection for the first ever Time Share with MACSS 4 Det B and MCAS Iwakuni.
