Congratulations to Airman 1st Class Sean Dearduff, 374th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, on being the Airlifter of the Week. Dear duff performs initial fire attack and life-saving techniques, if needed, while protecting protecting 388 facilities, 2,600 housing units and 12,000 personnel from fire hazards. He also recently supported Exercise COPE North where he surveyed and secured an alternate landing site for a C-130J Super Hercules and partner national aircraft on the island of Titian while enabling 98 flight missions. Finally, Dearduff was a main POC for the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff visit with USO guests. He informed the base visitors on firefighting tactics, equipment use and knowledge of his career field.
