The 35th Fighter Wing Staff Agencies chose Airman 1st Class Jordyn Fetter, photojournalist, as their Wild Weasel of the Week.

What is your daily mission?
My daily mission is to support the 35th Fighter Wing by highlighting Airmen, delivering information and imagery about events and putting operational actions into perspective.

What do you enjoy about your job?
My job is one of the best avenues available to learn about everything the Air Force has to offer. Whether it's another career I portray through a photograph, or an aspect I describe on paper; I discover something new every time.

Why did you choose to serve in the Air Force?
I was driven to join the Air Force upon graduation of high school because it provides amazing travel, education and job opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about living in Japan?
Being able to live in Japan is a gift not many people receive, so coming here and learning a new culture has been the best part of my experience thus far.

Who has been your best mentor and what have they taught you?
I have had a number of great mentors since joining the Air Force who have inspired me to strive for greatness in both my personal and professional life.

How long have you been stationed at Misawa?
I've been stationed at Misawa for one year and six months.

How long have you been in the Air Force?
I've been in the Air Force for a little over two years.

What goals do you want to meet while at Misawa?
In the remaining time I have left at Misawa, I hope to obtain my Community College of the Air Force degree and be awarded senior airman below-the-zone.

What goals do you want to meet during your Air Force career?
During my Air Force career I hope to commission via Scholarships for Outstanding Airman to Reserve Officer Training Corps and serve until I'm able to retire.
