The 35th Security Forces Squadron chose Airman 1st Class Caleb Kenley, special reaction team member and installation entry controller as their Wild Weasel of the Week.

What is your daily mission?
My daily mission is to safeguard personnel and property, as well as to provide security to the protection level resources on Misawa AB. I also patrol and enforce all base traffic codes and provide security for restricted areas.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy interacting with Misawa AB community members as well as making use of the opportunities my job provides and gaining knowledge from it.

Why did you choose to serve in the Air Force?
I chose to serve for the education, travel and being able to give myself better opportunities to further myself as a person.

What is your favorite thing about living in Japan?
Some of my favorite things are the food as well as the snowboarding, which I've come to love.

Who has been your best mentor and what have they taught you?
Airman 1st Class Tim Wells is a mentor to me. He has pushed me to be better and helped me accomplish many tasks. My supervisors and all my peers have played a part in this as well.

How long have you been stationed at Misawa?
One year.

How long have you been in the Air Force?
One and a half years.

What goals do you want to meet while at Misawa?
I want to achieve senior airman below-the-zone and go for "Airman of the Year" in my squadron.

What goals do you want to meet during your Air Force career?
I want to make the rank of chief master sergeant as an enlisted member or commission and become an officer.
