Airlifter of the week: Airman 1st Class Jayla Pressley
Congratulations to Airman 1st Class Jayla Pressley, 374th Medical Group public health technician, on receiving Airlifter of the Week!
Pressley is responsible for preventing and controlling the spread of disease and consistently monitors conditions and potential health threats by completing food and facility sanitation inspections. She has trained 327 personnel on food safety, protecting over 70 temporary food establishments acting to safeguard 145,000 guests for Yokota's Friendship Festival, Frostbite Run, and the upcoming Sakura Festival.
Pressley epitomizes the Core Value of Service Before Self as and Airman advocate providing guidance for 97 Airmen. She is a leading example and has dedicated more than 60 hours of off duty time to raise morale and enhance the welfare of Team Yokota's Airmen. Her involvement was lauded by CMSgt. Elvin Young, 374 Airlift Wing command chief, during the Mentoring Up event, which allowed Pressley to address senior enlisted leaders on topics such as dorm polices, meal card use, and communication to help improve Airmen's moral.
