Sasebo restaurant serves up a variety of pork
Tonya may be the only specialty pork restaurant in Sasebo. You can sample various dishes made from premium Hikobuta pork from Kumamoto Prefecture. They include “tonkotsu negi shabu” for 1,280 yen ($10), which is thinly sliced pork, onion, mushrooms, tofu and vegetables, which you blanch at your table in a light boiling pork broth.
