Yakiniku (Grilled Meat Dishes) Kou Restaurant which located in the suburban Sapporo is the First Yakiniku Halal Restaurant in Hokkaido! Following the increasing of halal restaurants in major cities in Japan such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, the launching of halal-yakiniku restaurant in Hokkaido, brought good news for Muslim tourists.

Hokkaido is one of islands in Japan which famous with its beautiful natural scenes all over the regions. Thus, this island is not only attracting many local tourists but also foreign tourists. Hokkaido also well-known for its various fresh-seafood, moreover they also recognized by the Japanese people from other islands.  Usually, those seafood dishes are the only choice for Muslim tourists in Hokkaido because it still difficult to find restaurant which is served halal-meat dishes in this northern islands of Japan. The restaurant also bring warm and cozy air, besides regular table and chair, it also has floor mate table that give you comfort one. Unfortunately, it located little bit far from the nearest station (Motomachi Station-Toho line) which is 20 minutes by walk. But, your “exhausted” will be pay with deluxe halal meats and delightful dishes from this restaurant!
