Submit your military child or students’ stories for a chance to win the children’s book, “Kendall’s Golf Lesson.”

DOD parents and teachers, send in those stories, drawings and photos by April 30 to or at the Month of the Military Child website and your pre-K to sixth-grade child or classroom could win one of three copies of this book by military mom Latorial Faison and her husband, Lt. Col. Carl Jerome Faison. In it, then 8-year-old Carl teaches little brother Kendall, 6, about golf in Dr. Seuss-like rhyme.

Faison, a Virginia native currently living on USAG Yongsan, South Korea, with her family, is a poet, author and educator. Learn more about “Kendall’s Golf Lesson” at:
