Contractor found dead on Misawa identified

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- A U.S. civilian contractor with Air Mobility Command, Eric Redeemar, 56, was found unresponsive in an off-base residence and declared dead Thursday evening at Misawa Air Base.

The cause of death is still under investigation; further details will be released as they become available.

"AMC plays a vital role for our team here at Misawa," said Col. Timothy J. Sundvall, the 35th Fighter Wing commander. "Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased and all those affected by the loss of Mr. Redeemar."
